The water is fine, as long as you are not above 10.11.3. If you are, ProTools will not work correctly at all. But at least on 10.11.3 you can get by. 10.12 is unbelievable! I haven't put it on my main computer yet, simply because it's a beta and I'm afraid of it crashing, etc. But I did put it through a session and it works great. Make sure both security updates and OS X updates our unchecked in the app store system preference pain. If you need to go down to 10.11.3, email me off list and I'd be happy to help.
