Martin. Grab those plug-ins. They are awesome. They emulate stomp boxes, so the controls are incredibly simple and intuitive. It is easy to dial-in tones very quickly. It's not that they're better or worse than the plug-ins that ship with ProTools, it's that they are different. They offer different textures that those plug-ins do not. Especially, the tape echo plug-in. That is absolutely phenomenal. I love working with the new plug-ins. I think you'll find them inspiring to work with.
