For what it's worth, the Komplete Kontrol's on-board editing and software editing is completely inaccessible. The Roland is 100% accessible. They are two different animals, however, because one is intimately tied to the Komplete Kontrol plug-in so, if that's the important part of the equation (the plug-in integration with speech) and you don't have any other Native Instruments S controller, well, there's your answer. If you do already have one of the S controllers, then the decision is not as clear cut. Slau
