Hey guys! This may sound super trivial, and I just recently started running into this problem in earnest, but I'm getting a whole lot of CPU overload errors in Pro Tools lately. The only thing I've done is switched to an Apollo Twin Thunderbolt interface, which in theory should minimize such problems, as I've switched away from the USB completely. I've committed all my software instruments, and when I open the CPU meter, it's not taxing it heavily at all. I've also optimized my Mac like Avid's web site said, so everything looks good on that angle. Also, I've substantially decreased the levels of undo, which should theoretically increase memory. I play back far more complex tracks in Logic with no problems, so why is Pro Tools being a pain? Any help would be appreciated!
