Hi List I am blind, and I have played keyboard for more than 30 years, I want to record some music, therefor I have build a home studio for my recording. I am a blind ProTools user, I use the newest version of ProTools with my soundcard a UAUDIO Apollo 8 Quad soundcard with a extra ADAT preamp so I can have all my devices setup at the same time.
I use a Vocalist the Digitech live pro and my keyboard, a Yamaha tyros 5 and my Line 6 Variax Standard guitar together with my 3 microphones. I have also bought a lot of audio plugins for my soundcard, because it can use the effects on the soundcard with nothing latency. If you want to read about my soundcard Audio Apollo 8 quad you can read about it here. http://www.uaudio.com/audio-interfaces/apollo-8.html I have not bought a ProTools surface, but can anyone tell me about it will be a good idea or not? If you have other ideas or comments for my home studio, feel free to reply on that message. I hope anyone can help me with my questions. Thanks in advance.
