OK, thank you for that confirmation. That's kind of what I suspected all along. 
Someone had suggested to me that they thought it could be done, then I could 
carry those presets over to Reaper on my Windows machine, and provided I had 
the same plugin as a VST, I could then simply import them into Reaper. I was 
like, um... Me thinks not! Figured I'd ask though just out of the one 
gazillionth of a chance that I was wrong.
