Definitely you are not the only one. I get that every other now and then, but not frequently enough to discern and track a pattern.

Maybe its just me, but I find that it seems to stick alot. Where sometimes it
seems the caps lock key is still held down when its not. For example I will
let go of the caps lock key and press tab to jump to something and it will
say ignoring next preset (VO+Tab is the VoiceOver Pass through command), so
I’ll have to press tab a second time to do the initial action.
I notice this on 3 different machines. Curious to see if I am the only one with
that issue.

A while back, I read and was told buy many people that using CAPS LOCK as the
VoiceOver key sometimes caused problems. Is that still true, and if so, under
what conditions do these problems occur?

No problem. Keep in mind that, if you're using CapsLock as your VoiceOver keys
(which, if you haven't already switched over to, you should), the shortcut to
turn on Num Pad Commander is VO Clear but the only shortcut to turn it off is
Control Option Clear, regardless of whether you use CapsLock as your VoiceOver
keys. It's a known bug.

That is exactly what happened. Thank you so much for the quick response. And
for the shortcut key to fix it.

You got into Num Pad Commander mode, most likely. Press Control Option Clear on
the num pad to toggle it off.

Help please! I was working in a session this morning and accidentally hit some
key combination that messed up the normal functionality of my number pad keys.
For example, using the numpad 1 and numpad 2 keys no longer advances the
insertion cursor backwards and forward. It now performs operating system
functions like opening the apple menu, etc.
I’m sure there is a very simple fix, I just cannot figure it out for the life
of me. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
