No matter how good a reference manual might be, using it as a learning
tool is in my unhumble opinion not the optimal way to learn anything.
However, if it's the only game in town, it can be done, but does require
a lot of filtering and integrating. Reference manuals are for looking up
things, designed in the context of going through a list of options and
dialogs in some arbitrary order.
And there sure ain't nothin' in that reference manual about VoiceOver,
so if you're going to use the reference manual to learn from, just
remember to interact with anything and everything you find, even if
things don't identify themselves as being able to be interacted with.
Also, supplement all of the above with the sh ortcut keys document. The
reference manual does mention shortcuts, but I'm not convinced it
mentions every one in every usage case.

Hi Kare,
It is a magic keyboard, magic keyboard 2 I believe. So far it works great,
haven't tried pro tools with it yet though. It hs all the keys like the number
pad and the 6pack of keys with the function, home, page up, delete, end, page
down keys. I was told it could work with either a phone or mac, witch is pretty
nice. I can't tell you how much it cost or anything as I was just talking to
somebody at a party who managed to score me one somehow for free from a friend
and have it brought to me within a few hours, bring airpods too witch are quite
high quality as well.
Since the pro tools with speech site is down though, are there any other
tutoriels I can listen to or read anywhere to help me learn pro tools? I'd like
to start as soon as I can, and I didn't find the pdf manuals from avid very
helpful mostly because of the way voiceover reads pdfs in that weird ay that is
unlike anything else in preview.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t so long as you got the number pad.

Hey everyone, I just received a full size wireless keyboard from a friend. Its
pretty cool so far. I’m just making sure that it’ll work fine with pro tools?
It has the number pad and everything, so it should, but I remember hearing
before that many people preferred using usb but is that just preference?
