Ok,

I will go and do that right now.

Thank you much, I will let you know if it worked.

Subject: Re: Issues with deleting track data

Sounds like Link Track and Edit selection became deselected under the Options
menu. Double check that.

Hello everyone,

I have two tracks, when I go through to clean up the vocal track and then play
it back, the areas in the track that I did not delete play back, but the other
track that was not selected is deleted. The area of the vocal track that I
deleted is deleted and the piano track plays, but not when the vocal track that
I left plays.

Confusing, I know. I can’t seem to edit the vocal track without it affecting
the piano track. They are not in a group and I have gone and made sure that
only the vocal track is selected, I have even hid the piano track. Here is the
other issue, even when no tracks are selected, if I mute with shift/M, it mutes
both tracks, even if they are not selected or shown.

Any thoughts would be helpful.
