Ramy,
When you say "reach the end of my selection," do you mean when you've played 
back your selection? If you have the insertion not following playback then, 
yes, the playback will once again start from the beginning of your selection. 
That's the mode you want to be in about 99% of the time when working in Pro 
Tools. However, it's important to understand that pressing the Space Bar 
doesn't return you to the beginning. Space bar simply begins playback of the 
selected range.
