I did like the fact that he's watching what other companies have done and are doing that might be leveraged into Avid's overall strategy to improve collaboration among content creators. Now there's a corporatespeak mouthful for ya. I am, of course, referring specifically to his comments about learning a lot from seeing what Microsoft is doing, and bringing some of that to Avid. "Not your father's Microsoft" indeed. I think he'll soon be saying that about Avid.
