Hi John, I haven't looked at the new mac mini yet, but if its like my 2012 mac mini you can have 2 drives installed so you can run pt from 1 & record to the second drive. I'v been waiting for the new mac pro to be released but may consider the new mac mini because of the 4 thunderbolt ports! Im still running my hdx system from my 2012 mac mini with 16 gig of ram, & as Sean has told me several times the video card in my 2012 is causing some of the "pt is busy" "SWOD" Thanks for any info.
