Hi,

My old 2008 Mac Pro is not able to deliver the speed and power I now need, so I
have considered the new Mac Mini. By choosing a 6 core/i7/32Gb/1Tb model, I
thought this would be a solution for the future. However, I’m told that the
capacity of the graphic card in the new Mini might not be sufficient for some
situations. some people will need an external GPU connected to one of the
thunderbolt connectors..

We all know that CPU, RAM size and fast drive speed is important when using Pro
Tools, but how important is the capacity of the graphic card when running PT?

Does anyone know?

Best,
John André
