Hi Tim,
If tracks are set to be shown in the Mix window, simply using VO right arrow
will go from track to track. Sometimes it helps to make sure the window is
zoomed to its maximum size. Flo Tools offers a quick command to do that (make
sure the Mouse group is enabled and press Command Option Shift z). Also,
pressing Option Page Up a couple of times plus Page Up alone once or twice will
ensure that the window is scrolled in such a way as to show the track names
right after the Tracks List Pop-Up button. Finally, it helps to also hide
unnecessary inserts and sends from the Mix Window Views sub menu under the View
menu.
Before you get into using the Inspector, though, I'd encourage you to get
familiar with what's contained in the channel strips of tracks so you'll better
know what sorts of things you can easily query with the Inspector. There's also
the Edit window which contains some of the same info but also additional
elements. The good thing is that Flo Tools has access to those elements even
from the Mix window but, as you can understand, you have to know what you're
looking for before you can find it so I'd also encourage looking at the tracks
in the Edit window. Hope that helps and let us know how it goes.
