Hello again friend. I hope this helps. It is what I would do.

1. For this, I would select my intended background track, and use the repeat
option from Menu bar > Edit.

Example of how it works: I have a 30 second loop, and need to have it run
during a 60 minute show. I repeat the 30 second clip a minimum of 120 times.
This will allow it to play for 60 minutes while recording the show.

2. I am not certain of the best approach. My idea is connect the host’s phone
to a spare input, check levels of the track before going live, and allowing the
host to play it when it should play.

If it is played directly at the start, you can place the track into the session
before going live.

I hope my ideas have helped. More experienced list members may have easier
methods.

I wish you well, friend,
Mike
