That is kind of an all-around question. There are many people  Who might 
suggest    different things. Try running your buffer size as low as you can 
when you record. I would say 256. Then, when you mix pump it back up to 512. 
You have enough memory, so that shouldn't be a problem.

hello everyone, have a question for you I have a Mac mini that is running 
Mojave, also that it has a six core processor, 3.2 GHz up to 4.6 turbo boost; 
with 32 gigs of RAM, a 512 gig SSD; I’d like to know what is the smallest 
buffer size, that I should use for ProTools could anyone let me know?
