Hello Jesse! Regarding Waves Central VOCR gets no access to all the informations on screen. Using the touchpad helps but freezes the app.
Superior drummer 2 and some Isotope stuff worked fine using VOCR, but for Waves I needed a remote assistance. The result of VOCR depends on the what Tesseract gives, so there isn't really much you can do in order to improve. The new VOCR has better result from using the OCR engine from built-into Catalina. Hopefully when Pro Tools becomes compatible with Catalina, more people could take advantage of it. Also sometimes turning off VoiceOver visuals with vo+command+f11 helps. VoiceOver cursor indicator and captions panels get overlaid on top of a window, so it can interfere with the screenshot. Lastly, there's a chance that there isn't many words on the screen. The interface could be consist of just icons, sliders, and knobs instead of words. Thus, you might be reading what Tesseract is trying to make words out of pictures that are not actual words.
