The new version that runs on Catalena does not require Keyboard Maestro at all. Its entirely stand alone as its using apples Vision Kit API. Once you open it from your applications folder you will need to give it the appropriate permissions and then you should be up and running. The read me file should explain all the permissions you need to give it. The oder version of VOCR required a number of secondary tools to be installed to work correctly, and as I haven't used that version I can't help.
