thanks Guys.
Yeah, I'm tempted to get rid of Avast. It seems all it does is get less
accessible each update and I don't need apps trying to tell me what to fear. I
get enough of that from the news.
So, I'll do that and flo tools should be fine to open then. I'm also still just
playing around with Pro tools First, which reminds me of Garageband, which I
hated with a passion after three hours. I have the PT Ultimate trial
downloaded, but not installed. So I'll get my crap sorted and installed.
Chances are I'll be asking for assistance in a few days. I know I probably
shouldn't start all of the PT stuff cold, with no knowledge of Pro tools. But
what I am interested in is the possibility of a faster workflow, the way
automation appears to be easier, and simply all the information I want in a
daw. so I don't see the point of learning PT and still be slowed down by all
the things that slow me down in Logic. Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree, but
I'm thinking I'll give PT a month. By then, I should know.
Maybe. :D
And there is such a thing as too much coffee. :D
