So, if I go to the dashboard with command+n, then command+1 to the
create tab, and make a new session not based off a template, I obviously
get thrown in the session with no tracks.
Now, I create either an audio or instrument track. After I do so, rather
than being placed in the edit window or the mix window, preferably the
ladder, I'm taken to this weird screen I've never seen before where it
says transport cluster. If I then VO+Right arrow once, I get to
transport options button. That's literally speaking all on the whole
entire screen. Literally! aside the close, zoom and minimize buttons,
that's literally speaking all that's there. What's strange about this
is, if I then hit command+equals, it takes me to the edit window, which
by the way looks just fine, and if I then hit command+equals again, I'm
at the mix window, then I see the track strip, the track list table, and
everything as I should. It's just right after I first create a new track
and get that very first track in the session that I see this weirdness.
What in the hell did I do! This is just nuts crazy!! I can't remember
earlier today if when I first installed PT it did this or not. I'm
suspicious that something I did in the edit window under the toolbar
options may a caused this, as I was trying to get those things according
to the Preflight chapter configured, but since I'm not able to see
what's selected and what isn't... Voiceover isn't telling me, it's
really really hard for me to say for sure what I've done, or even it
that is rellavent.
Chris.
