Hi, I always like to do tests like this to see how well things work as just because it is not officially supported does not mean that you can not at least get something done on it.  The issue is if you find a bug with Pro Tools on an unofficially supported mac operating system how do you go about reporting the bug so it can at least be known?  Nick Gawronski

As long as you're in a test environment, like a separate boot drive etc, I see
no harm in trying PT or any other software to see how it does. Just don't have
any expectations going in :)

Thank you. That's exactly the answer I was looking for, just a one worded yes
or no. Enough said. Consider this top it closed. I very much appreciate the
help. From someone who is at least tried.

So, using an M1 system, I want to make it super super clear that I am not
suggesting for one second that anyone do this on their primary machine, in
fact, I wouldn't even do it on my main production workstation, but just out of
curiosity, I know Protools definitely hasn't yet been certified to work with
Ventura. In fact, Ventura OS13 isn't even out yet. It's still public beta,
hince why I'd never do this on my main machine, but if you have a backup to
play with that if things break, isn't a big deal, I'm wondering if you
technically speaking could get P'T to run fairly decently on that setup. I know
some plugins certainly may not work correctly, but I'm speaking more just PT in
and of itself, 3rd party plugins not withstanding.

NOt asking for much detail here, but more just a general, yes in theory it
would, or no, absolutely 100 percent no no no no, don't even attempt, even on a
test environment.

Chris.
