Hi steve, there never was a problem with factory presets in Pro Tools so I’m not sure what you’re thinking of. In the case of saving your own presets, you’d need to choose “Save As…” from the Settings menu. If you haven’t saved any prior and, if there aren’t any factory presets, Pro Tools will create a folder in your Documents/Pro Tools/Plug-in Settings folder and will take on the name of the plug-in. Occasionally the manufacturer name precedes the plug-in name and sometimes it doesn’t. You can either double-tap VO+f2 and look at the Plug-in window’s title or, alternatively, you can sort your Plug-in Settings folder by date. To do this, focus on the folder and press Control+Option+Command+4. By default, the newest item will be at the top of the list and that should be the folder where you saved a new preset.
Hope that helps, Slau > On Jun 19, 2024, at 6:45 AM, Steve Sparrow <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hey again guys. > I’ve noticed I can’t do anything with plug in presets in PT. > I know the stock presets were a problem in the older protools.
