Hi List, Can someone please verify that in the latest Pro Tools that split notes is not working at all? Select/Split Notes is found in the MIDI operations window Pro tools key command to get in to select/split notes is Option y. Heres what I found when trying to Test Select-Split Notes, with a new PT session, old Template not used I purposely opened a new session then programmed a midi drum kit on 1 track using midi merge, then selected the whole track, without using my pro tools templates and when I tried to split notes in this brand new session nothing happened. Absolutely nothing except I kept having to undo “cut notes” in the edit menu! No crashes no results. Then I tried the other midi functions like transpose and velocity, which worked as expected! I then programmed a mini grand piano chord with the same results. Head scratcher! :) Any Body having the same weirdness when trying to select midi “ notes” with the latest pro tools? Thanks Chuck
