The wireless director is a subclass of the DE director, and the two can be used very effectively in combination. Actually, with the wireless director, you can use wired subsystems. The SmallWorld demo shows this (the upper right of the model is all wired... perhaps a better design would use hierarchy, however.

Hi,
I am trying to make simulation for a hierarchical system model of
wearable computer, which includes sensor subsystems, helmet subsystems
(video, audio), and one wireless transmitter to the wearable.

I made a very simple system for wired and wireless case seperately. I
used DE for wired connections and WirelessDirector for wireless case.

My question is:
1. How about for both mixed wired and wireless case? What kind of
Director should I use?
2. Which method would be better to change the wired/wireless
connections for different devices without much changing the whole
model?

Thanks,
Maya
