There is no easy way to do this.
It could be that Higher Order Functions (HOF), have some of the
elements that you are looking for, such as unique sequential numbers
In general the icons are fairly static.

I'm working with SDF stars - can I tie the picture on the icon to one or
more of the parameters (states) of that star? Also, can I set a flag or
something on a facet so that every time a new star is created it is given a
unique, sequential number (which would also be the parameter I would like t
o
show on the icon)?
If anyone knows how to do this or has any suggestions, your help is greatly
appreciated.
