Howdy

Starting with Wolfgang Reimer's linux (i386 ;-) ) port, I added a new
architecture "linux-ppc" and updated the list of files which break EGCS
(running release 1.1.2). Apart from taking, ahemm, some time on my ooold
machine (120 MHz PPC604 processor, PMAc 8500), the compile went OK.

A small page about the specific files which do not work is on

        http://www.imaginet.fr/~jensting/EGCS-err/index.html

Waiting for the next linux-ppc distribution (which comes with libc2 etc
etc) so I can ask for vers 0.7.2 ;-)

Cheers

        Jens
