Hi JosE RamOn

The first step is related with the system galaxy creation.
At fisrt time you need to select the domain for each galaxy. The
simulation domain for POLIS objects is DE. This is done with 'd' command
and typing "DE".

The second step is the selection of the target. The DE domain has only
one target but is necessary to specify some parameters. The target
selection is done with 'T' command.

Type T over the simulation galaxy window, select "default DE" and press
OK. Then you need to change the target parameters that appear in the
window like that:
calendar queue scheduler?: NO
Resource contention scheduler?: YES
You can change the timescle parameter if necessary and the others is OK
with the default value.

Do not forget set the target (T command) in the system galaxy to
inherit it from parent.

You can found information related with ptolemy configuration for POLIS
cosimualtion in "POLIS v0.4 Users manual".

Currently there is no support for ptolemy II because this new version dont
have code generation features yet.

Finally th VHDL cosimulation feature in POLIS is working fine. You can
make VHDL cosimulation at diferents stage of design: You can make
behavioral, structural and RTL simulation of the whole design.

Check this commands
make beh_vhdl ;for behavorial VHDL
shift2vhdl
blif2vhdl
or under polis enviroment:
sg_to_vhdl
hw_to_vhdl

Espero que sea util esta informaciOn.

buena suerte con el codiseno.

Mauricio Alvarez
