Hi, I recently bought a plextalk PTR1 and it was running the 1.12 eng version. I wanted to update it to 1.13.a but for some reason when I try and update nothing happens.
I have put the update files on CD using Nero to create the CD. I have connected the ptr1 to AC power and theres no card in the ptr1 or USB cable. I turn the device on and put in the CD as instructed. I press play and the instructions are spoken. The instructions say that the upgrade should take place as soon as the speech is finished. But nothing seems to happen. The CD doesn't turn and I have left the plextalk by itself for a few minutes. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on? Yusuf Osman. Owner of the trekker email list.
