Hi all, I have been recording some newspaper articles on to CD using the plextalk and have had a couple of problems.
1. After my reader had read 1 article we discovered that she had not read the author of the article. So I went back to the beginning of the recording and paused playback between the title of the article and the beginning of the main part of the article. I then changed recording type to punch inn mode hoping that this would insert what I wanted to record between the two points I had selected. This did not happen. The initial article disappeared and the author of the article (that I put in using punch inn mode) ended up at the beginning of the CD. I closed the session and put the Cd on the PC and found the article still there. But whatever I do on the Plextalk that first article can't be reached. So my questions are: Has that article disappeared? What did I do wrong? How should I have inserted some extra information in to the recording? The CD I was using was a record only. My second problem was over inserting pages. During recording pressing the page key once should begin a new page? I did this but when I tried to go directly to that page during playback I was told that there weren't any pages in the recording. Does anyone know what I did wrong? Thanks for any help Yusuf Osman.
