(BIf you read the text below, which I took from the new features page on the
(Bplextalk website, you will see that they are adding a 1 minute time jump
(Bnavigation feature. I believe the user will be able to adjust this from 1
(Bminute to 10 minute intervals. If you ask me, and I feel many of you will
(Bagree, 1 minute is an awful lot of time when wanting to quickly reread the
(Blast few words of your daisy book. For example, when reading complex
(Bmaterial that one would like to quickly review again, or listen to over and
(Bover until comprehension is complete, having to wait an entire minute until
(Byou are at the phrase of audio you want to listen to once again is a very
(Blong time to wait. In other words, I might as well simply press and hold
(Bthe
(Brewind button and wait till the mechanism takes enough time to engage,
(Bwhich
(Bwill probably be faster than waiting 1 minute until I can hear my desired
(Btext again. It almost seems useless to be able to jump an entire minute

(Bwhen one can hear the last phrase much faster by pressing the back key and
(Bwaiting for the mechanism to engage. Those of you who also use the Visuaide
(BVictor ReaderSoft software know that when pressing the letter r for rewind,
(Byou have to wait for what seems like an eternity for the software to catch
(Bup to the text you wanted to reread. I just ran a little test and it seems
(Bas though the Victor ReaderSoft rewinds by increments of 25 seconds, but it
(Bseems like an eternity to catch up where you left off. I understand that 1
(Bminute is much better than nothing, but I'm suggesting that, if not too
(Blate, maybe Plextor can include an additional time jump increment of 10
(Bseconds. We will then be able to choose from 10 seconds, 1 minute, or 10
(Bminutes. This would make reading very easy, quick, and a great joy. Quickly
(Brewinding 10 seconds is comparable to a sighted person shifting their eyes
(Bback a few sentences and rereading something they did not understand. I
(Bdon't know the hardware issues or firmware code complexities involved in
(Bthis, but jumping forward and backwards just a few seconds when editing
(Btext
(Bor simply rereading complex text sounds like a great way to read and enjoy
(Ball types of books.
