Hi,

Good suggestion, this is paralell to the other suggestion made last week
whereby if the unit is off and keylock is pressed, it shouldn't necessairly
power up if the power button is pushed.

Andrew.

When I am out and am recording with the PTR1, sometimes I like to carry it
in it's carrying pack to keep it safe with the mic wire and/or earphone
wires coming from the side. I have had the on/off switch accidentally pushed
which causes the unit to shutdown, which is what it is suppose to do. What I
would like to see is it not shutting down when the key lock describer switch
is engaged. It's the same idea as when you are backing up a recording or
finalizing a disc, and you turn off the unit, it completes the function
before shutting down. I am thinking when you disengage the key describer, is
when it shuts down. thank you
