Hi.
When your computer makes that noise you describe, hit alt+n, then
space. You should be in a menu which will allow you to download the file.
I'd suggest you do this, as I sent you a copy of the manual when you asked
for it from me a few days ago, which, though it didn't bounce, seems not to
have reached you. Perhaps your mailbox doesn't take attachment, for virus
protection or other reasons?

The site is wonderful. My problem was that my computer pulled a stunt it
has done prior--making a noise like a comb running through tissue paper,
then just staring at me--when I got to that last link. So, could someone
please E-mail me the text of the manual, not the link? I'm researching the
PTR1 and would like to read the manual as part of that process. It appears
that everyone on this list is happy with their units, as I have heard no
complaints. Do I assume correctly?
