Hi,

Use the level editor, find out where the headings are, navigate to them
and remove them. They probably got inserted after long pauses.

Andrew.

How do you remove all headers from the book?

Hi.

We can't do the cutting of the MP3 on the unit for various reasons; this
is
primarily due to writable disk constraints, but the code to do this
would be
quite processor intensive, even on a flash card.

The audio export option in PRS is what you want; it exports a DAISY
structure with the MP3 file with the parts cut out - it does this by
reading
in the PTR1 specific files and writing out a new copy of the audio file.
If
there are multiple sections on the DAISY book, those will be created as
separate MP3 files.

Therefor, I suggest you remove all section markers (headings) from the
book,
and try the audio export function again.

Regards.
Andrew.

Subject: mp3 question

Hello. I edited a large file on the ptr1. I was cutting commercials out
of
some programs. I got the time down to 2 hours instead of 3. I wanted to
see
if the mp3 file was the same. When I looked at the mp3 on the computer
it
was the original mp3. I was editing on a compact flash card instead of
disk.
I thought that when I saved the file it would also save the mp3. How can
I
get the ncc file and the mp3 file to be the same?
I told it to convert the ncc file on the computer to an audio file. It
made
it in to about 60 mp3's. I want it to be 1 mp3 file.
