My name is Tamru Belay. I am new subscriber to this list.
I have owned PTR1 since last week. I am trying to learn how to use from the user manual.
I have few question:
1. How do I burn music CD with PTR1? You Must have a cdr, that is a write once only cdr, with the music lowgo on it
2. What type of PC card are compatible with the unit?any pc Mmcia card provided that you have bought the card adapter with your unit.
3. I would like to record speeches at the conference. so, Is the PTR1 record only daisy format? If not, how do I make CD that I can play in standard home or car stereo? You would connect your source to the ptr1, and then in your settings menue, choose 44.1 khz. Again, make sure that you have a blank cdr, whith the music lowgo on it.
4. I want to copy sounds and music from my home stereo to PTR1 and I would like to play it in the standard CD player. How do I do it then? Again, you would do the same thing. Make sure that it is a cdr, with the music lowgo, not a computer or data cdr. Not a cdrw, all though some cars and home stereo systems will play them. Note, if you have a data cdr or cdrw, the ptr1 will record in dazy format. Read the section on recording and burning cds a few times. Because this will give you more details.
