Hi, gang!

We just updated our PlexTalk to version 2.01 English. The Release notes say that you can play MP3 files from the PC card. I did not find an updated users manual, so have no idea how this is supposed to be accomplished.

We tried creating a title, hence folder, on the card using the PlexTalk. Then we copied with my laptop some MP3 files into that folder. The title is shown, that is it's reported as title 7, but nothing in it plays. We then tried deleting the 3 Daisy files that are created in the folder when the title is created. We thought maybe they made the PlexTalk think it was a Daisy title. Same result... the music wouldn't play.

Since it still says that backing up an MP3 disk to the card is prohibited, we assume you would have to put the MP3's onto the card with a computer. How is this supposed to be set up so that the files can be played? I suppose it's possible that you'd have to format the PC card so that there's nothing on it but MP3's, but that sure is inconvenient. We want to be able to take along books and music without needing to have 2 cards to do it. Even if this is the answer, we have no documentation telling what to do.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Marilyn
