Despite Robert S's reservations, can I invite your structured contributions
to this Wiki page I have made at Handhelds.org:

http://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/PtxDist

You will need a Handhelds wiki signin.

I will check up on content and reorganise if required, and will make my own
copy of new content in addition to Handheld's versioning.
(Also in case Handhelds no longer wish to provide pages.)

I have placed headings for what I think are sensible use-cases;
if there are additional ones please include them, even if you
cannot provide all the content - just put "TBD",
or "(TBD)" if you intend to provide the content yourself .

If no-one has anything to add, so be it.

I just found that getting enough info to quickly start using PTXdist was hard,
although I recognise that it is potentially very useful.

I believe it is held back by a lack of adequate 'howto' guides, plus
what is usually called 'tips and tricks', and with that in mind invite
experienced users to help us newcomers avoid their already-solved problems.

My intention is that the 'ptxdist' project should be able to include any
contributed content in the release package .tar.gz if it sees fit, with
a credit to any contributors - if any ;-)

Best regards,

MikeW (also Dipl.-Ing. [MA, MBCS, C.Eng], for the record !)
