1.0.0 is stable and used in many projects. Nevertheless, we still didn't find the time to put out proper maintenance releasese (which would be 1.0.x). So in the svn quite some bugfixes have been accumulated which wait for a release. Maybe in the Pengutronix Development Week (CW42). > Seems that OSELAS is still using older versions, maybe they are > better? No, it's only that these bsps havn't been updated since then. There is no technical reason not to use 1.0.0. > I early faced to problems, and the explanation available in > AppNotes_InstallingPtxdist.pdf seems not enough clear to solve the > problem without annoying you with questions :-) No problem with that. > Just for starting I'd like to rebuild my first toolchain: > > $ ptxdist clone OSELAS.BSP-Pengutronix-GenericArmGlibc-3 toolchaintest > $ cd toolchaintest/ > $ ptxdist go Old style toolchains are obsolete. Use OSELAS.Toolchain (which, unfortunately, isn't updated to 1.0.0 as well, so use either 0.10.6 to build the toolchain, or change the ptxconfig to 1.0.0 - it works).
