Have a look at the "build-target/mgetty-1.1.30/Makefile" file. Set
"prefix" to /usr and "CONFDIR" to /etc/mgetty+sendfax. Put this into a
patch.
Then fix the installation procedure.
A better approach is to first import the current debian patches for
mgetty and then start hacking.
At the I have combined the two: updated the .make file to use the debian
source and patches and set prefix and CONFDIR accordingly. Seems to work
pretty fine without tweaking installation. Given some more testing, I
probably will provide patches tomorrow.
Just one more little question: to use ppp from mgetty, the pppd must be
suid root. How to archive this (from the ppp.make file)?
