Hi,
Is there a way to check which commit a compilation of the toolchain is
based upon? We're starting to use git submodules to track our projects
with corresponding ptxdist and ptxtoolchain, so I would like to be able
to see if the already compiled toolchain(s) is based on the correct
commit in order to avoid a recompile.
If there is no mechanism for this I thought of adding a file called
"gitref" containing the checksum at build time of the toolchain along
with "ptxconfig" in the directory
"/opt/OSELAS.Toolchain-1.99/<platform>/<tools>/bin". Maybe ptxdist could
be supplied with the commit reference as a parameter when running a
"ptxdist platform <config>" as an optional?
Suggestions are welcome ;-).
Best regards,
Bo
