I am migrating from Fedora 14 32 bit to Fedora 14 64 bit and have hit a logistics problems. This partly because I hacked out the build on Fedora 14 32bit and wanted to consolidate my understanding, and partly because I really would rather work with Fedora 14 64 bit
The error message is install file: src=OSELAS.BSP-Pengutronix-Generic/platform-versatilepb/packages/linux-2.6.3 2/lib/modules/2.6.32-pengutronix/modules.dep dst=/lib/modules/2.6.32-pengutronix/modules.dep owner=0 group=0 permissions=0644 /usr/bin/fakeroot: ipkg-build: command not found failed make: *** [/home/dbl/Projects/ptxdist-2011.01.0/projects/OSELAS.BSP-Pengutronix-Generi c/platform-versatilepb/state/kernel.targetinstall.post] Error 127 [dbl@localhost build-tools]$ The implication is that ipkg-build is absent The host has fakeroot version 1.12.4 The patch files in directory ptxdist-2011.01.0/patches/fakeroot-1.14.4 seems to suggest that I have an older version of fakeroot Is fakeroot version 1.14-4 needed? Do I need to install a verision of ipkg? Are checks necessary as part of the build? dbl -- ptxdist mailing list [email protected]
