Hi folks, we're still struggling with a problem concerning the build option "Use local build timezone database" operating on the package host-tz-database. The problem occurred with ptxdist version 2011.07.0 and is still present in the actual version (2011.08.0). We made no changes (as far as we remember) to the configuration when we changed from ptxdist version 2011.06.0 to 2011.07.0.
The problem seem to be, that the extract stage is completed but the state is not set in the states directory due to an error with the tar rmdir command. If the state is set manually - after the run through the build process failed with the error message attaches at the end of this posting - the next run through the build process is passed without any errors. Something wrong with tar and the clean up? I'm not experienced enough with ptxdist to hunt the error down to its basics. Maybe someone can help? At the moment we fix the problem by running a touch host-tz-database.extract in the states directory of the project.
