I feel some heavy rumblings underground in Oz; can you sketch in a few details that seem to be missing from the surface?

First I hear Philip Adams quoting words that apparently come out of Joe Stalins repertoire (see attachment), then I find that many people are refusing to pay tax on the strength of this: http://users.orac.net.au/~gds/democracy.htm and discover a hive of constitutional lawyers, scientists, and assorted legal-eagles residing here: http://www.institutetr.com.au/

On contacting one of the owners of the latter URLs : [EMAIL PROTECTED] and taking his advice to ring the ATO on 131550 and asking for the Intelligence Unit to put the question to them, I am told by the ATO that I would have to take them to court to find out if they did or did not have the lawful standing that Wolter Joosse claims they do not have - what?! take someone to court to find out what the law is! Jesus H. Christ, I could not believe my ears, but I am almost prepared to believe anything after hearing the words that Phil Adams used. Worse was to come... next I find the reason why the ATO is not taking tax-revolters to court is that they (the ATO) are not lawful and they know it (hence their cagey answer to my question) and instead try to bluff the  tax-revolter into compliance by trickery.

Is this the reason for the GST, the "Republican" issue, gun control, and the need for those words in the GST Bill? Are we heading for a Dictatorship or a civil war? Am I missing out on something? Is the rumbling still underground or has it come to the surface somewhere as well? If Philip Adams is telling Gladys to get off her fanny and DO SOMETHING, how come Auntie is fast asleep, or is me that is day dreaming?

On Late Night Live, Thursday last and repeated on Friday, Philip Adams - right at the start of the program - asked "Gladys" to get off her fanny and cause an uproar (or words to that effect) and complain about some words used in the GST Bill. The words supposedly used gave the Commissioner of Taxation the power to "deem something to have happened that had in fact not happened and to deem something not to have happened that had in fact happened".

I have searched high and low through on-line documents published by the Government and can not find the bloody thing; a friend has even faxed the Governor General and asked him, many times, and has no reply.

Where did Phil get his info from and, where can I go to get same?
