You will see from the attachments that the GST Bill does contain words like: "the Commissioner has the power to deem something to have happened that has not in fact happened..."
 
It might pay to take the warning by Peter Lindsay seriously and read the thing for yourself!

You should also ask for an explanation why the statement is in the Bill.
There are very good reasons. Be careful! 




On the ABC Radio National program Late Night Live broadcast on August 12, repeated the next day and, hosted by Philip Adams; at the start of the program it was claimed that the GST Bill Paragraph 165-55 contained words to this effect: "the Commissioner has the power to deem something to have happened that has not in fact happened and to deem something not to have happened that has in fact happened"
 
Will you please inform me if this is a true statement or not by the ABC and, if it is true, where I can get a copy of that statement from the GST Bill.
