The WA Trades and Labor Council and the Friends of East Timor have jointly
issued a flyer listing Javanese products which should be boycotted, demands
to be made of our Government and of the Javanese, fax numbers to use, and
where to donate funds for refugees. All the information is in the following
text. Boycotts are not effective unless very widely advertised.

Campaign for Peace and Security in East Timor
BOYCOTT ALL INDONESIAN PRODUCTS, SERVICES, AND COMPANIES UNTIL THEY STOP THE
KILLINGS IN EAST TIMOR.
On August 30 the people of East Timor voted overwhelmingly for their
independence. During nearly 24 years of brutal occupation by the Indonesian
army hundreds of thousands have died. The massacres that have already taken
place are developing into genocide.
If you are outraged by the actions of the Indonesian government, the army
and the armed militia, you can help make a difference.
Don't buy Indonesian products or use Indonesian services and companies until
the Indonesian authorities put an end to the murder of innocent East
Timorese men, women and children.
