Dear Dennis, Thank you for the item on fluoride increasing the uptake of lead. As you know, 2 or more poisons have a synergistic effect, ie: the effect is more than simply the sum of the effects of each. Learning difficulties, crime, etc... How about political apathy? Governments who want absolute power want a population which is not going to resist. Fluoride is a component in psychotrophic medicines. In dentistry, we have an expression of "fluoride bombs" which applies to teeth which have a hard enamel shell over dentine (the body and bulk of a tooth) which decays (in spite of fluoride)to the extent that all that is left is the hard outer shell which, when is bitten on, "explodes" or simply shatters leaving nothing but the roots of the tooth. If this internal caries (decay) is not detected early enough (that is one reason for regular or 6 monthly xrays) and removed with the placing of a filling (preferrably not composite which people believe is more desirable than amalgam but is not as composites are known to cause decay because of their chemistry - whereas amalgam, with its silver/copper/tin/zinc/mercury, kills off the decay-causing bacteria and will endure). Politically, poisoning a population to a level of non-resistance is an ideal world for our masters. Non-resistance to fluoride treatment of water supplies just makes the cycle easier and easier.
