FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22--SUNY/NEW PALTZ, NY “What Really Happened in Yugoslavia?” This is the title of a public meeting at the State University of New York in New Paltz Friday evening Oct. 22. (New Paltz is located in New York’s Hudson Valley midway between New York City and Albany.) The event, which is free and starts promptly at 7 p.m. in Lecture Center 102, is being co-organized by the International Action Center (IAC) and the Mid- Hudson National People’s Campaign. Speakers include Brian Becker, a coordinator of the IAC; Pat Chin, just returned Wednesday from a fact-finding mission for the IAC in Yugoslavia; and Jack A. Smith, co-chair of the Mid- Hudson NPC.
