G'day, Here is a great count-down clock you can download and use to countdown to the NEW MILLENNIUM,(the true one)  and the 21st century. It counts to January 1. 2001.
Pass it on to your friends. Compliments of the US Naval Observatory.

A Free Millennium Countdown Clock
Compliments of the U.S. Naval Observatory -- Enjoy!

A Java-enabled browser is required to view this page.

The countdown clock shown here is a computer program written in the Java programming language. In order to view the countdown clock, the Web browser you use must be Java-enabled, that is, it must be capable of running Java applets. Check your browser's documentation to be sure that you are running a Java-enabled version.

This countdown clock uses the system clock on the client machine (for example, it is currently using the system clock on your computer). It does not get time synchronization from the USNO Master Clock. You can check your system clock and then return to this page.

To add this countdown clock to your home page, you must download three files. You will need the HTML file "CountDown.html," the Java class file "CountDown.class," and the JPEG Apollo 17 image of the Earth "apollo17_earth.jpg" (any image of size 102x102 pixels can be used). All three of the above files can be obtained at one time by downloading the compressed file "CountDown.zip." You must use the "Save link as..." feature of your browser to download these files.
