Your factors which "impacted upon proposed changes include" words such as:
Extension of duty of care, perceived benefits of safety management, nationally derived standards, administrative efficiencies, effective controls on explosives (including fireworks), compliance with Foreign International and National requirements, obligations on persons, general requirements, individuals required to comply, ensure safety and compliance, applications fees, obligations are placed on licensed sellers, Ammunition sales are restricted, obligations are imposed upon purchasers of explosives, a licence to use fireworks limited to displays for Public entertainment, conditions to apply to displays, licenced firework operators to hold insurance for each and every display ($5 million $10 million)
The Objection
Our Association asserts that all of the above impositions on the people of Queensland are illegal, immoral, and a elusive means of advancing further political controls over the day to day lives of the citizens of this State. The saying goes, "If it is not broke, why fix it". The answer is "you don’t want to fix it, you want to control it" No one in Queensland voted for International and National controls on their lives, nor has the general population given any informed consent to these impositions.
It Oppresses Innocent Men
There is no legal process which oppresses innocent men. The only power any government has is to protect people from criminals. Governments have to be seen to achieve so then a government manufactures criminals. It declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible to live without breaking laws. It keeps people’s minds off the important issues, such as defending their lives and property and resisting the controls of Government.
The Rule of Law, Stolen by Government
Nothing distinguishes more clearly conditions in a free country from those in a country under despotic government than the observance of the great principle known as the "Rule of Law" (meaning Reign of Law) that means that government in all its actions is bound by rules fixed beforehand. While every law restricts individual freedom to some extent , under the Rule of Law the government is prevented from stultifying individual efforts by ad hoc action. The individual should be free to pursue his personal ends knowing that government will not be used to deliberately to frustrate his efforts.
Property Rights, Stolen by Government
The exclusive reason why men unite in a commonwealth and place themselves within a governments and away from the freedom of nature is the preservation and use of their property which in the free state of nature is uncertain. Certainty of the standards of right and wrong and a common measure to decide all controversies has to be the only intention of government. Men only enter into society for the enjoyment of their property.
Government Never Had the Right to Enslave its Citizens
Society cannot continue to exist if its government captures and controls the lives or properties of its citizens, Government is limited to the protection and preservation of that property it has no other end and can never have the right to enslave or impoverish its subjects. Your current Act, Regulations and proposed changes to the Regulations are all unnecessary encumbrances, the Criminal Code, Civil Law and countless other Acts can be brought to bear against anyone using ammunition or explosives in a dangerous manner and if they are not doing that, then they should be allowed to proceed with their business.
The Suppression of the Individual Pioneer
When the first man discovered how to make fire. He was more than likely burned at the stake with the fire he had taught his
kinsmen to light. He like, present day shooting enthusiasts would be considered an evildoer who had developed a demon that mankind dreaded. Afterwards though men had fire to keep them warm, to cook their food, to light their caves. He had left them a gift they had not conceived and he had lifted darkness off the face of the earth. When the first man invented the wheel. He was probably torn on the rack he had taught his relatives to build. He was deemed a transgressor who ventured into forbidden territory. But thereafter, men could travel past any horizon. He had left them a gift they had not conceived and he had opened the roads of the world. As individuals are overpowered, materials limited, knowledge restricted, what gifts, to the world, will be forever lost?Individuals Always Sacrificed
Those first heros, always stands in the opening chapter of every legend mankind has recorded about its beginning. Prometheus was chained to a rock and torn, by vultures because he had stolen the fire of the gods. Adam was condemned to suffer because he had eaten the fruit of the tree of knowledge. Mankind knew that its glory had began with one mans sacrifice and that one man had paid the price for his courage.
Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision. Their goals differed, but they all had this in common: that the step was first, the road new, the vision un borrowed, and the response they received - hatred.
Status Quo Always Opposes Individuals
The great visionaries Christopher Columbus, builders, Michelangelo, the thinkers, Socrates, the artists, Vincent Van Gogh, the scientists, Louis Pasteur, the inventor, Galileo all stood alone against the men of their time. Every great new thought was opposed. Every great new invention was denounced. The first engine was considered absurd. The first aircraft was considered impossible. The power loom was considered vicious. Anesthesia was considered sinful. But the men of un borrowed vision went ahead. They fought, they suffered and they paid. But they won.
Individualism is an Anathema to the Collective State
No individual desired to serve his fellow man, as they always reject the gift he offered because that gift, always destroyed the indolent habit of their lives. His truth was his only motive. His own truth, and his own work to achieve it in his own way. A symphony, a book, an engine, a philosophy, an aircraft or a building that was his goal and his life. Not those who heard, read, operated, believed, flew or inhabited the thing he had created. The creation was the goal, not its users. The creation, not the benefits others derived from it. The creation which gave form to his truth. He held his truth above all things and against all men.
Individual Spirit, Individual Vision. Suppress it, and Human Achievement Expires
The individuals vision, his strength, his courage came from his own spirit. A man's spirit, is always within himself. That entity which is his own consciousness that is what influences how he thinks, feels, judges, acts. The creators or originators were not selfless. It is the whole secret of their power that it was self-sufficient, self-motivated, self-generated. First a cause, a fount of energy, a life force, a motivation. The creator served nothing and no one. He lives for his idea. Only by living his own idea, was he able to achieve the things which are the glory of mankind. Such is the nature of human achievement.
The Single Attribute of Mankind, His Reasoning Mind.
Man cannot survive except through his mind. He comes on earth unarmed. His brain is his only weapon. Animals obtain food by force. Man has no claws, no fangs, no horns, no great strength of muscle. He must manufacture his food or hunt for it. To hunt, he needs weapons, to survive he needs weapons, and to manufacture weapons a process of thought is needed. Without that ability to manufacture weapons the human race would be extinct remove that ability and its future extinction is assured. From this simplest necessity to the highest religious philosophy, from the wheel to the skyscraper; everything we are and everything we have comes from is a single attribute of man, the function of his reasoning mind.
All Functions of the Body and Mind are Individual not Collective
.The mind is an attribute of the individual. There is no such thing as a collective brain. There is no such thing as a collective or a socialist thought. An agreement reached by a group of men is only a compromise or an average drawn upon many individual thoughts. It is a secondary consequence. The primary act the process of reason must be performed by each man alone. We can divide a meal among many men. We cannot digest it in a collective stomach. No man can use his lungs to breathe for another man. No man can use his brain to think for another. All the functions of body and mind are individual. They cannot be shared or transferred.
The Moving Force of the World is the Individuals Creative Faculty.
We inherit the products of the thought of other men. We inherited the wheel. We make a cart. The cart becomes a motor car. The motor car becomes a jet aircraft. All through the process what we receive from others is only the end product of their thinking. The moving force is the creative faculty which takes this product as material, uses it and originates the next step. This creative faculty cannot be given or received, shared or borrowed. It belongs to single, individual men. That which it creates is the property of that creator. Men learn from one another. But all learning is only the exchange of pre-created material.
Restrictive Legislation Restricts Human Progress
No man can give another the capacity to think. Yet that capacity is our only means of survival. No parliamentary restrictive legislation can change the capacity of the human mind to think or not to think. If he thinks, he has no shortage of explosives and knows safely how to use it. If he doesn’t think, obtaining explosives will be difficult for him. Education is far more productive than legislation as the exchange of material advances human progress where legislation restricts it.
Are you a Creator - Producer or a Parasite on Mankind?
Nothing is given to man on earth except that brain power. Everything he needs has to be produced. And here man faces his basic alternative: he can survive in only one of two ways by the independent work of his own mind or as a parasite fed by the minds and efforts of others. The creator originates, produces and supplies, he is the farmer, the engineer, the machinists, the carpenter, the service supplier who creates his own business, the fisherman, the individual self motivator. The parasite borrows uses and abuses, he is the social worker, the politicians, the benevolent bureaucrat, the media reporter, the parking meter man.
The Creator Conquers Nature, The Parasite Conquers Men.
The creator faces the world alone. The parasite faces the world through many intermediaries. The creator's concern is the conquest of nature. The parasite's concern is the conquest of men. The creator lives for his work. He needs no other men. His primary goal is within his own potential. The parasite lives second-hand. He needs others. Others become his prime motivation.
The basic need of the creator is his own independence, the freedom to follow his own ideas. The reasoning mind cannot work under any form of compulsion. It cannot be curbed, sacrificed or subordinated to any consideration whatsoever. It demands total independence in function and in motive. To a creator, all relations with men are secondary. The basic need of the parasite is to secure his ties with men in order to be fed. He places relationships first. He declares that man exists in order to serve others. He preaches benevolence.
Bureaucratic Benevolence, the Socialist Philosophy
.Benevolence is the belief which demands that men live for others and place others before himself. No man can live for others. He can share a meal but not his mind or his body. But the parasite has used benevolence as a weapon of exploitation and reversed the base of mankind's moral principles. Men have been taught every premise that exterminates the individual creator Men have been taught dependence is a quality. The men who live from others are dependent. They are parasitical in motive and makes parasites of those he distributes to. His relationships with people produces nothing but mutual corruption.
A Slave to the Collective Benevolent State
The nearest approach to it in reality ,"the man who lives to serve others" is the slave. If physical slavery is repulsive, how much more repulsive is the concept of servility of the spirit? The conquered slave has a vestige of honor. He has the merit of having resisted and of considering his condition evil. But the man who enslaves himself voluntarily in the name of benevolence is the basest of creatures. He degrades the dignity of mankind. Slavery is the essence of benevolence.
Benevolent Politicians Who Give Away What They Embezzle From The Individualist- Producers
Men have been taught that the highest virtue is not to achieve, but to give, contributing to the Common Good . Yet one cannot give that which has not yet been produced. Production has to come before distribution or there will be nothing to distribute. The need of the creator comes before the need of any possible beneficiary. Yet we are taught to admire the freeloader politicians who dispenses gifts he has not produced above the man who made the gifts possible. We praise an act of charity We ignore an act of achievement.
Benevolence itself is a disease
.Men have been taught that their first concern is to relieve the suffering of others. Should one come upon it, one tries to give relief and assistance. To make that the highest test of virtue is to make suffering the most important part of life. So then man must wish to see others suffer in order that he may be virtuous. Such is the nature of benevolence. The creator is not concerned with disease, but with life. Yet the works of the creators has eliminated one form of disease after another, in man's body and spirit, and brought more relief from suffering than any benevolent bureaucrat could ever conceive.
Individuals Stand Alone
Men have been taught that it is a virtue to agree with others. But the creator is the man who disagrees. Men have been taught that it is a virtue to swim with the current. The creator is the man who goes against the current. Men have been taught that it is a virtue to stand together. The creator is the man who stands alone.
Parasites Stick With the Same Story
Men have been taught that individuality is the birthplace of evil, and contribution is the ideal of virtue. But the creator is the individualist in the absolute sense, and the benevolent man is the dependent one who cannot think, feel, judge, or act for himself ; These are functions of the individual only.
Individuality verses Collective Benevolence
Here the basic reversal is most deadly. The issue has been perverted and man has been left no alternative and no freedom. As poles of good and evil, he was offered two conceptions: Individuality or benevolence. Individuality was held to mean the sacrifice of others to oneself. Benevolence the sacrifice of self to others. This tied man irrevocably to other men and left him nothing but a choice of pain and embarrassment, his own pain borne for the sake of others or pain inflicted upon others for the sake of self. When it was added that man must find joy in self sacrifice, the trap was closed. Man was forced to accept masochism as his ideal under the threat that sadism was his only alternative. This was the final device perpetrated on mankind. This was the device by. which dependence (Socialism) and suffering were perpetuated as fundamentals of human existence.
The Choice is Individualism or Collective-ism
The choice is not self-sacrifice or domination. The choice is independence or dependence. The code of the creator, or the code of the parasite. This is the basic issue. It rests upon the alternative of life or death.. The code of the creator is built on the needs of the reasoning mind which allows man to survive. The code. of the parasite is built on the needs of a mind incapable of self survival. All that which proceeds from man's independent individuality is good. All that which proceeds from man's dependence upon men is depravity.
Independence, a Gauge of Human Value and Virtue
The individualist in the absolute sense is not the man who sacrifices others. He is the man who stands above the need of using others in any manner. He does not function through them. He is not concerned with then in any primary matter. Not in his aim, not in his motive, not in his thinking, not in: his desires; not in the source of his energy. He does not exist for any other man and asks no other man to exist for him. This is the only form of brotherhood and mutual respect possible between men. Degrees of ability vary, but the basic principle remains the same the degree of a man's independence, initiative and personal love for his work determines his talent as a worker and his worth as a man. Independence is the only gauge of human virtue and value. What a man is and makes of himself is important, not what he has or hasn't done for others. There is no substitute for personal dignity. There is no standard of personal dignity except independence.
In all proper relationships there is no sacrifice of anyone to anyone. Why should we sacrifice our ammunition to the false perception of "Common Good"?
Legislation Makes Criminals From Honest Men Who Do Not Wish To Give Their Labor For A Cause They Oppose.
Men exchange their work by free, mutual consent to mutual advantage when their personal interests agree and they both desire the exchange. This is the only possible form of relationship between equals. Anything else is a relation of slave to master, or victim to executioner. To force the individual to assist the Government in its suppression of free business activity, to spy on their customers, record their purchases, against their own free will, for no financial reward, is accurately described as slavery.
The first Human Right is the Right of the Individual to his own Potential
No work is ever done collectively, by a majority decision, Every creative job is achieved under the guidance of a single individual thought. A designer requires a great many men to produce his firearm. But he does not ask them to vote on his design. They work together by free agreement and each is free in his proper function. A builder uses steel, glass, concrete, produced by others. But the materials remain just so much steel, glass and concrete until he touches them. What he does with them is his individual product and his individual characteristic. This is the only pattern for proper co-operation among men.
The first right on earth is the right of the individual to his own ability. Man's first duty is to himself. His moral law is never to place his prime ambition within the precinct of others. His moral obligation is to do what he wishes, provided his wish does not ill use, other men. This includes the whole realm of his creative faculty, his thinking, his work. This philosophy of course is totally abhorrent to the criminal, the humanitarian and the dictator
Robbery, Exploitation and Domination are the Function of Parasites
A man thinks and works. alone. A man cannot rob, exploit or rule alone. Robbery, exploitation and ruling presupposes victims. They imply dependence. They are the. province of the parasite. Rulers of men are not individuals. Despots create nothing. They exist entirely through the persons of others. The Despots are the parasite, their goal is to feed off their subjects, their goal is the activity of enslaving. They are just as dependent as the beggar, the social worker and the bandit. The form of dependence does not matter. Men are taught the lie, to regard tyrants, emperors, dictators as exponents of individualism but tyrants create or produce nothing . By this fraud men were made to destroy the individualist, without realising the individualist was themselves. The purpose of this fraud is always to destroy and harness the creators, the individualists because they are the greatest threat to the parasites.
Histories Greatest Contest The Individual Versus the Collective State.
From the beginning of history, the two antagonists have stood face to face: the creator individualist and the collectivist parasite. When the first creator invented the wheel, the first parasite responded. He invented benevolence.
The creator was denied, opposed, persecuted, exploited, went on, moved forward and carried all humanity along on his energy. The parasite contributed nothing to the process except the impediments. The contest is the individual against the collective State.
The "Common Good" the Claim of Every Tyrant Established Over Men
The "common good" or "public safety" of a collective, a race, a class, a State was the claim and justification of every tyranny ever established over men. Every major horror of history was committed in the name of a benevolent motive. Has any act of selfishness ever equalled the carnage perpetrated by disciples of benevolence? Does the fault lie in men's hypocrisy or in the nature of the principle? The most dreadful butchers were the most benevolently sincere. They believed in the perfect society reached through the guillotine and the firing squad. Nobody questioned their right to murder since they were murdering for "the common good. It was accepted that man must be sacrificed for other men. The performers change, but the bureaucracy of the tragedy remains the same. The humanitarians start with declarations of love for mankind but always end with a sea of blood.
It goes on and will go on so long as men believe that an action is good if it is unselfish. As long as they sanction the benevolent bureaucrat to officiate and force the victims to endure it.
Leave Us Alone
The leaders of collectivist socialist bureaucracies supposedly ask nothing for themselves. But observe the results. They take everything from the creators. The only good which men can do to one another and the only statement of their proper relationship is "Leave Us Alone" !
Our Country was Built on the Principles of Individualism
Now observe the results of a society built on the principle of individualism. Our nation. The noblest nation in the history of the world. The country of unparalleled achievement, supreme prosperity, optimum freedom. This nation was not established on selfless service, sacrifice, surrender or any premise of benevolence. It was based on a man's right to the quest for happiness. His own happiness. Not anyone else's. A private, personal, motive. Look at the results. Look into your own conscience, do you want anything different.
Civilisation is the Advance Towards a Private Society, away from Tribalism
.It is an old conflict. Men have come close to the truth many times, but it was destroyed each time and one civilization fell after another. Civilization is the advance toward a society of privacy for the individual. The tribal savage's whole existence is public, dominated by the laws of his tribe. Civilization was the process of setting man free from other men.
Decreed Collectivism Has Swallowed Most of World
At this present time, in our age, collectivism, the law of the parasite and benevolent bureaucrat, the ancient monstrosity has broken loose and is running amuck. It has brought once free men to a level of intellectual indecency never equalled on earth. It has reached a scale of horror without precedent. It has poisoned every mind. It has swallowed most of the world and is engulfing our country.
Decide Now, If you want to Go Down With the Ship.
I am an engineer. I know what is to come by the principle on which it is being assembled. We are approaching a situation in Australia where thinking men have to decide whether they are going to allow themselves to be drowned slowly in a sticky quagmire of stinking bureaucracy or are they going to choose to remove themselves, sit back and watch our country go under, like a sinking ship, sad but beautiful to the last, taking down good people, but observe the parasites, the benevolent bureaucrats clinging to the decks longing to find another host to suck life from.
Why Do They Do It?
The love of a man for the integrity of his work and his right to preserve it are now considered vague intangible and unessential. Now the parasites use legislation to remove and control peoples property.
Many ask Why?
Acts such as these, never have any reason, it's only the arrogance of bureaucrats who feels they have a right to anyone's property, spiritual or material.
Who permitted them to do it?
No particular man among the dozens in authority. No one cared to permit it or to stop it. No one was responsible. No one can be held to account. Such is the nature of all collective bureaucratic action.
We Do Not Recognize Anyone's Right To One Single Minute Of Our Lives.They take the benefit of our work and made us contribute it as a gift. Man is not a humanitarian. He does not contribute gifts of this nature. The bureaucrats tell us that their needs constituted a claim on our lives. That it is our duty to contribute anything demanded of us. This is the bureaucrats credo which is now swallowing the world. The purpose of this document is to say that we do not recognize anyone's right to one single minute of our lives. Nor to any part of our energy. Nor to any achievements that we make. No matter who makes the claim, how large their number or how great their supposed need "for the common good".We are men who do not just exist just to be manipulated by legislation produced by bureaucrat parasites and politicians.
We Love Our Country But Will Take No Part In A Slave Society
The planet is succumbing from an orgy of bureaucracy and collective legislation.
The integrity of a man's creative work is of greater importance than any collective endeavor. Those of you who do not understand this are the men who are destroying the world. We recognize no obligations towards the State except one: to respect other peoples freedom and will take no part in a slave society.
We all love our country and what it used to stand for. None of us object to voluntary contributing to the advancement of our country. We refuse to take part and assist in its death.
We Will Remember Them
Our acts of loyalty are for every creator, the founders of our country, the ones that were made to suffer by the bureaucratic forces of their day. To every tortured hour of loneliness, denial, frustration, abuse they were made to spend and to the battles they won or lost. To every creator whose name is known and to every creator who lived, struggled and perished unrecognized before he could achieve. To every creator who was destroyed in body or in spirit, they are our brothers and will be remembered.
Your Goal Of Control Will Be Achieved
You will legislate no matter what we say or do. It will achieve your goal of control. Our Association warned the nation before the introduction of the 1996 Uniform gun laws. In 1999 the Inspector of the Weapons Licensing Branch, Inspector J Mc Coomb had to admit in the Sunday newspapers and expose the debacle they had concocted. He reported that "it had caused a massive increase in armed Crime, House breaking and invasions had increased 144% , the Black market in guns was a huge growth industry".
How much more proof is needed? On New Years Eve 1999/2000 after your department and the media had threatened $20,000fines and jail sentences the sky was aglow with thousand upon thousands of individual unlicenced fireworks. Proving again to you, the uselessness of your supposes intentions, as you are aware that the ‘public safety’ or ‘common good’ is not what its about at all. Its all just Control and the parasites need to feed off the controlled.
Will You Be Concerned At It’s Failure?
Who will be concerned if the public lose’s confidence in Law and Order, who will be concerned if there are more accidents, more illegal use, who will be concerned that people who never broke the law before in their lives, now break it daily and find they are getting to enjoy the condition. Your department will have to seem to be doing something, convicting the people who are unaware that they have done any wrong. The parasites will have succeeded in closing more individual small business . The harness around the peoples necks will be a little thicker and bit heavier. The parasites will never be truly content until they have eradicated any last vestiges of freedom in the land.
There is Nothing New Under the Sun. Its all Happened Before.
Your actions could be likened to the Volstead Act of 1919 which enforced the Eighteenth Amendment to the US Constitution, (Introducing the Prohibition of Alcoholic beverages) the bureaucrats saw it as a great success, the general public ignored it, the honest business people suffered and went around it, the police made a lot of money out of it, the gangsters( and politicians they paid for), made a lot of money out of it. It weakened societies faith in real law and order and financially was held to be the largest contribution to the Great Depression.
The Outshining Principle is a Policy of Freedom For The Individual, Not Power for the State.
If the people can see a real need they will support change and movement, when they see hypocrisy and deception they suffer under it and ignore it, rebel against it and when civilization falls into collective tribalism, rebel against that again and rebuild it. When people lose what used to be a nation of free men, they will always try again, the outshining principle is a policy of freedom for the individual, not power for the State.
But what about the waste in human terms, why is it an never ending, age old circle, why do we have to continue to lose what our founding creators strived for?
