I selected this as the most interesting of
Destiny.
Whether the Biblical/religio connection is correctly
interpreted or not, the reality warning and danger is spot on.
I know many who are lost in "cybersomewherespace" just from TV
alone.

IV. THE SPIDER'S WEB........
Adults, and children especially, are more and more
living a life of
virtual reality. They are more and more divorced from
reality, from their own thoughts, emotions and from real-life
interaction;.......
Satan prepares us to accept his mark.
Like a deadly spider he first tries
to numb our conscience with his poison by
trapping us in his international
net (INTERNET) or his World Wide Web ('WWW'
- or, '666' in the Holerithic
code).
Some food for thought on this
matter -
Consider the many frustrations and unfruitful hours that
millions of
individuals spend passively watching whatever a myriad of T.V.
channels
dish up. Or 'surfing' the net trying feverishly to learn new
software, or
playing computer games etc.
In this way, it is easy to
conclude that Satan's seduction has again
succeeded in luring the world away
from God, and into enslavement.
Through the computer and the internet Satan
offers unlimited knowledge,
truth, pleasure and excitement. Who other than
Satan or Antichrist would
make it so easy for countless millions worldwide to
gain almost instant
access to dangerously evil, immoral and perverted
material.
The results are emerging: children making explosives; children
raping,
murdering, torturing u even in their own families; the mass
shooting
rampages world wide, and more.
We have become dependent on a
powerful aemachineAE that then controls us.
Lies and half truths originate
from the Father of lies and Master of
confusion. Are we so anaesthetised that
we can't stop and THINK of all
the logical repercussions of this radically
different way of 'living'?
Adults, and children especially, are more and
more living a life of
virtual reality. They are more and more divorced from
reality, from their
own thoughts, emotions and from real-life interaction;
from knowing and
acknowledging God, our Creator and Father.

Relatively speaking, the spider's 'web' is made up of
the strongest
substance on earth and its purpose is to entrap and immobilize
any
unsuspecting prey which foolishly ventures near enough (for 'Bill to
open
the Gates' [?] and) for the spider to descend upon it and
effortlessly
devour it. (Before he actually devours it he will implant his
poisonous
'Mark of WWW' [?] on it).
Truth is certainly stranger than
fiction, and many are so desperate to
'keep up with the Joneses', or not to
be left behind, that we rush out to
do courses on using and surfing the net
and become hooked on the freebies
and the bait being offered in public
libraries and elsewhere. Like all
drugs, the first ones are free!
Just
as a spider's web suddenly appears overnight seemingly from nowhere,
so has
the internet spread worldwide in a few short years.
This is why, when
writing about the ten crowned horns of the Black Beast
(the media), and
reading how, in Daniel 7, a 'little horn' grows up so
quickly, subsuming
three others - that I couldn't help but think this
'little horn' was similar
to the most powerful horn of the media ever.
Daniel's vision foresaw it
would integrate computers, television and video
recorders, and become the
controlling force over the other 'seven horns'.
I trust that the reader
will not conclude that I totally condemn the
internet and that its users are
damned. Much of the reference material
used [in this 7-part "Destiny" series]
comes itself from the internet via
good prayerful friends.
Satan
knows he cannot trap us with obvious, outlandish evil. His message
appears as
a 'good' and even can be a 'good' when used with self
discipline, humility
and discernment.
If you are an experienced, self disciplined mountaineer
you can gain much
by climbing Mount Everest but you wouldn't let your
inexperienced children
climb it.
As mature Christians we must live in
the world, but not be of the world.
The watch words of the world today are
LIBERTY and EQUALITY. If it feels
good, do it! Society's moral fiber and
standards are constantly being
undermined.
