Dear Phil,
If the Eliet rule over the People then the Elite rule over
the People.
To "delegate" means "to give over (one's power
or authority) to another so that he can act for one". If the People
give over the power to rule themselves to the Elite, then the Elite rule the
People - which is not Democracy, but Oligarchy.
Our Parliaments have the power to make laws "for the
peace, order and good government of the Commonwealth (or State)" and the
People have the power to nullify ( by way of a jury - which is "trial by
the country") any law the Parliaments may make.
In theory, the Crown (by way of the Governor-General and
Governors) can nullify any laws put up by the Parliaments for Royal Assent - but
the Crown is not fulfilling its duty, as it should.
Therefore, the bottom line is that juries are our only
protection against bad laws.
Yours sincerely,
John.

In Australia, are the People ruled by the
People, ie: a Democracy, or are the People ruled by
the Elite (eg: bankers, judges, politicians, etc.),
which would be an Oligarchy? This is the case to decide just
that.
John some might say that in a Democracy the people delegate
the power to the ELITE to rule over us. Thus the minority which may be 49%
have to sit with it. Phil.

Side Shoe Shuffle.
Dea Fellow Australians,
Attached, for those interested in the
on-going sage of the "Banks and Judges", is
the transcript of what was said last Thursday in the Supreme Court of
New South Wales, Sydney.
The Statement of Claim for Unlawful
Imprisonment against the Crown and the Requisition for Trial by Jury
were filed on 11 April 2000 and this is the 4th time I have been to
court trying to get a jury. The most crucial issue for a jury to
determine is whether an Australian citizen has the right to trial by
jury.
Yours sincerely,
John
Wilson.
